Shipping and FAQs

  • Shipping

    NZ orders will be sent via courier with tracking. Expected delivery is 1-3 business days, but please allow 7 business days, as delays with the postage system are outside my control. Cost is $7.00

    Australia: $18.00 tracked shipping has a 3-6 delivery window.

    United States: Due to tarifs, the cost will be calcualted on a case by case basis. U.S customers please contact me for a shipping quote.

    United Kingdom: $30.00 has a 6-13 delivery window. Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.

    For all international orders please allow14-30 business days as delays are outside my control

    All postage options are tracked for your peace of mind.

    If you are outside of these areas or need priority shipping, I can provide a quote of the cost.

    FREE shipping for New Zealand orders when you spend $200 or over. At checkout use the code: FREENZ

    FREE shipping on all other orders when you spend $350 or more. At checkout use the code: FREEWORLD

    note: these price are based on a single item purchase, larger orders will increase the cost to accomadate weight.

  • Returns and Exchange

    If you wish to return your piece you must contact me within 14 days of receiving/tracking shows as delivered. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer and all items must be returned in original packaging, unworn and undamaged state. Failure to return items as described means you may not receive a full refund due to loss of value.

    I am not responsible for loss or damage in an event beyond my reasonable control. If the piece arrives damaged or defective please reach out to see if a repair is possible.

    I cannot provide refunds for ‘change of mind’ but we can possibly work out an exchange for a piece of equal or greater cost, where the customer would pay the difference plus shipping.

    Please check measurements carefully prior to ordering and always feel free to reach out if you need more details about a particular piece.

  • Repairs

    MVH Jewellery will repair any manufacturing fault at no cost within 6 months of the purchase date. Please contact us for details. Manufacturing faults do not include faults with chains, patinas (such as blackening) rubbing off, or tarnishing.

    The customer is responsible for providing the correct sizing details. However in the event that you recieve the wrong sized piece (eg. ring or bangle) MVH Jewellery will double check measurements and responsibility of cost will be determined.

    All other repairs are quoted on a case by case basis.

  • Customization

    MVH Jewellery is happy to accomadate any custom requests where possible. Customizations to existing designs may include- changing chain style or length, picking a different gemstone to what is listed on the webstore or adding gemstones to a design, getting a design made in gold…..and more.

    Please use the contact form to get in touch and check the viability of your desired customization. On some occasions there will be a fee where the materials requested are of greater value than the original design

  • Sustainability

    MVH Jewellery is committed to building a sustainable practice. All metal and castings are are sourced from suppliers who work with recycled metals. This reduces the demand for mined precious metals. All metal dust, filings and scrap created in the workshop are carefully collected so it may be resused. Gemstones are sourced from trusted suppliers, and where possible lab or man made stones are used. MVH Jewellery is proud to make pieces that will last a lifetime, slow fashion is about owning pieces you will love forever, and hopefully pass on to the next generation.

  • Order times

    “Ready to ship” items will be posted within 3 working days of purchase.

    “Made to order” items will be posted within 2-4 weeks. As the name suggests made to order pieces are crafted once the order has been placed. Please do check items listed lead time and feel free to get in touch if you are wanting something within a tighter time frame.

  • Christmas and New Years Order Fullfillment

    I will be out of studio from Dec 24th-Jan 26th. You can still place orders as per usual, with some changes in order fullfilment times:

    Dec 26th- Jan 10th, Ready to Ship Items: sent out as per usual, please allow 2-3 days to recieve your tracking. Please allow 2-3 days extra for your item to arrive on top of usual delivery time frames.

    Jan 10th-Jan 26th, Ready to Ship Items: items ordered on the 10th until the 26th will not be sent out until 27th-29th.

    Dec 24th- Jan 26th, made to order items: all made to order items will be fullfilled after Jan 26th, usual timeline applies, please allow 3-4weeks for your item to be crafted.
